Janina Hřebíčková is currently working for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic at the Strategy, Analysis & Project Management Office. Formerly, she has served there as a Director of Department for Human Rights & Transition Policy. Janina Hřebíčková was the first Czech Ambassador to Kosovo and Deputy Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic Mission to the United Nations. Previously, she was the Foreign Affairs Ambassador-at-Large to Iraq. Prior to her Foreign Ministry work, she served on several United Nation peacekeeping missions. Janina Hřebíčková received her Master’s degree and her PhD degree from Charles University.
Nediljko Bilić is currently the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic. Previously, he was Professor of electrical engineering on both the Traffic and Communications and Economics Faculties in Sarajevo. He also held senior executive positions at Energoinvest, Elektroprivreda B&H and PTT BiH in Sarajevo, both in an advisory and management capacity. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Belgrade University, an MSc from Sarajevo University and PhD in Electrotechnics and Management from Sarajevo University.
Ivana Hlavsová is a Director of Department of South & South East Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. She graduated at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Previously, she served as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovenia and Consul General in Los Angeles, USA. She began her career in the Office of the President of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic as an Assistant to the Foreign Policy Adviser.
Karel Kühnl is a Czech politician and Diplomat. He has received his doctorate from Charles University in Prague. His extensive political career includes serving as a Minister of Industry and Trade, being elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and later becoming a Minister of Defense. Previously, he has served as a Czech Ambassador to the United Kingdom and to Ireland. He has gained experience with the Western Balkans while working as an Ambassador to Croatia (2007 – 2012).
Maja Mitrović is currently the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Czech Republic. At the beginning of her career she has worked for the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate for the North America and later in Directorate for the Western Europe. She is also former Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Before her current position she served as Director –Ambassador at the Directorate for Neighboring Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has received her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economy in Belgrade.
Lulzim Mjeku, a Diplomat from Kosovo, was one of the Founders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Service of Kosovo in 2008. Mjeku served as a Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with previous experience from civil society, human rights advocacy and journalism. He worked in different circumstances, including war correspondent in Kosovo. Mjeku has recieved his M.A. in International Law from the University of Prishtina.
Tomislav Vlahutin is the Second Secretary and Head of Consular Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to the Czech Republic. He began his professional career at the Diplomatic Academy in Zagreb. Afterwards, he has worked at the Multilateral Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Croatia. He has also served at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to Romania. He graduated at the University of Zagreb and the University of Bucharest.
