04 Apr Junior Diplomat Initiative Switzerland Youth Dialogue 2016: Future of Diplomacy
The fourth annual JDI Youth Dialogue, taking place in Geneva for the first time, invites students across Switzerland to gain insight on current trends in international diplomacy, learn practical skills to pursue a diplomatic career, and network with other students passionate about diplomacy. This year’s conference on Future of Diplomacy includes interactive panels with junior diplomats to provide a fresh perspective on some of the main global challenges and with senior diplomats to examine different aspects of globalised diplomacy and multilateralism.
Students have the option of participating in one of three workshops: Mediation Skills, Digital Diplomacy and Discuss Leading with Influence. The workshops will include both a theoretical and a practical component that will help immerse students in the intricacies of diplomacy.
The JDI Switzerland Youth Dialogue 2016 is organised by the Junior Diplomat Initiative Switzerland in partnership with the Graduate Institute, in collaboration with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), Foraus, DiploFoundation and swisspeace.
